About 30 attendees were transfixed on the morning of Tuesday, July 17 by a talk on bees by Clive Rogers, who not only is the Chair of the North Shropshire bee association and a bee Inspector, but also comes from a long line of beekeepers. What Clive does not know about bees is not worth knowing! The talk prompted many questions and a great deal of discussion. After the meeting some of the participants went through to the dining room to share conversation and lunch together.
The meeting was sponsored by Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and Sarah Sharpe, from Clarkes Solicitors, gave a brief explanation of this excellent organisation containing lawyers who specialise in helping older and vulnerable adults in a whole range of legal issues including, importantly, those who have been diagnosed with dementia from whatever cause and who wish to plan ahead for the benefit of themselves and their family.
