The maximum number allowed at a meeting is 20. This is quite a difference from the 43 who attended our last meeting before lock down!
We were able to use zoom to enable people at home to access the talk which was given by Nigel Hinton, an expert on local history, whose fascinating subject for the day was ‘The Drapers’ company and the wool trade’
The audience listened enthralled and were very impressed by the excellent knowledge of our speaker. Several of the participants bought books written by Nigel Hinton, who generously donated the profits to PALZ UK.
Afterwards most of those attending stayed on for refreshments and conversation at a distance! It is great to be back to some normality.
