Professor Tim Jenkins of Chester University, gave a very entertaining and informative talk about the work done on the Music Hall in Shrewsbury to transform it into a museum.

He gave a fascinating account of the restoration work to Vaughan’s mansion.
Those attending, some of whom stayed on to enjoy lunch and each others’ company, were very enthusiastic about the morning.
Some new participants said “If this is the standard of the talks; we can look forward to some very enjoyable meetings!”

We were delighted to welcome Michele Davies from Shropshire Council who has been so encouraging to PALZ.
The event was kindly sponsored by Miller Evans, the well established firm of estate agents in Shropshire. David Evans attended and we were able to offer our sincere thanks for the support the firm is giving.

It means so much.

Thank you both Davids!
