On September 17th the group were treated to a very stimulating talk given by Dr Mary Heber, a retired Cardiologist and TA Colonel.
Dr Heber had served for two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan and not only talked about the experience but gave a “tour” of the facilities which, as she pointed out, very much reflected MASH.
Many more personnel are patients of physicians rather than surgeons, presenting with a variety of illnesses. An excellent talk!!
Many of the group followed the meeting with lunch in the dining room, which affords an opportunity to make and cement friendships.
