On Tuesday 17th January 2023, those in a packed seminar room, at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital Shropshire Conference Centre thoroughly enjoyed the engaging presentation given by Andy Begley, Chief Executive of Shropshire Council, entitled ‘Big Data solving Big Issues’.
Andy outlined the immense financial challenges faced by the Council, especially in the area of social care, but was able to outline the innovative ways that the Council is using data to address these challenges. He kindly answered questions raised and, it is fair to say, that those attending were delighted he had taken the time to support the Shropshire PALZ group.
