On Tuesday, May 17 there was a double bonus for the group as, not only did we have a main speaker, Sally Bevington, who gave a fascinating talk on ‘ walls of the world’ but we were delighted to have a short talk by Anna Turner, the Lord Lieutenant of Shropshire, who gave an insight into her background and her current role.
We were also pleased to welcome Lisa Wright from the local Alzheimer’s society to give her an opportunity to learn more about PALZ Shropshire.
We welcome visits from local charities and Health and Social care departments, though it is wise to contact Liz Holdsworth on 01743718495 or 07880602383 to check on numbers while the centre is still limiting us, because of Covid.
